James City County VIRGINIA Jamestown 1607 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Planning Commission of James City County, Virginia, will hold a meeting on March 18, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the County Government Center Board Room, 101-F Mounts Bay Rd., James City County, Virginia, to conduct a public hearing to consider the following: Review of the FY2025-FY2029 Capital Improvements Program. The Planning Commission will consider FY2025-FY2029 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) requests for public facilities in the County. A CIP project is a major expenditure that is of a fixed nature or long life and adds to the net assets of the County. CIP requests to be considered are: Construction of a 5000+ square foot warehouse; Courthouse Architectural/Engineering Services to add a 30,000 or more square foot addition to the Courthouse facility; Construction of the Chickahominy Park Connector Road; Chickahominy Park Campground Improvements; and Construction of a classroom facility at the police firing range. All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing. CIP applications and supporting materials are on file in the Planning Office and may be viewed during normal office hours at the County Government Center, 101-A Mounts Bay Road, James City County, Virginia.
