A request to allow a tourist home on a parcel zoned R-8, Rural Residential. The property is located at 2884 Chickahominy Road, is further identified as JCC Real Estate Tax Map No. 2230100007 and is designated Rural Lands on the 2045 Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map. Appropriate primary uses for areas designated Rural Lands include traditional and forestal activities, but also innovative agriculture, horticulture, silviculture, and other uses that are compatible with the natural and rural surroundings. Home-based operations which require very low intensity settings relative to the site in which it will be located may be considered on the basis of a case-by-case review, provided such uses are compatible with the natural and rural character of the area and are in accordance with the Rural Lands Development Standards. This proposal does not increase the number of residential units and does not impact the density. SUP-23-0009. 2868 Lake Powell Road Tourist Home. A request to allow a tourist home on a parcel zoned R-2, General Residential. The property is located at 2868 Lake Powell Road, is further identified as JCC Real Estate Tax Map No. 4810100046 and is designated Low Density Residential on the 2045 Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map. Recommended uses include single-family and multifamily units, accessory units, cluster or cottage homes on small lots, recreation areas and limited commercial. This proposal does not increase the number of residential units and does not impact the density. SUP-23-0010. 2884 Lake Powell Road Tourist Home. A request to allow a tourist home on a parcel zoned R-2, General Residential. The property is located at 2884 Lake Powell Road, is further identified as JCC Real Estate Tax Map No. 4820100009B and is designated Low Density Residential on the 2045 Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map. Recommended uses include single-family and multifamily units, accessory units, cluster or cottage homes on small lots, recreation areas and limited commercial. This proposal does not increase the number of residential units and does not impact the density. The case materials/ordinances/resolutions are on file in the office of the County Administrator.
