Public Hearing on an Amendment to the Adopted Budget Based on Federal Coronavirus Relief Funding. A public hearing will be held to consider an amendment to the Adopted Budget for federal coronavirus relief funding received by James City County for American Rescue Plan Act funding in the amount of $7,431,848. The Code of Virginia, § 15.2-2507, requires a public hearing when amendments to the budget to adjust the aggregate amount to be appropriated exceed 1% of total expenditures, and a request for appropriation for this relief funding exceeds this threshold.
