*Virginia Department Interstate 64 / Denbigh Boulevard Interchange Projects City of Newport News Online Survey Available through February 2, 2024 The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is conducting an online survey to receive public input for the proposed projects to construct a new interchange on Interstate 64 (1-64) at Denbigh Boulevard in Newport News. This new interchange would serve as an additional access point along 1-64 between Fort Eustis Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue. National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, in the form of an Environmental Assessment (EA), is being developed to evaluate the potential impacts on the human and natural environments that could result from the proposed improvements. Please note that the preliminary design plans are in development and not yet available at this time. VDOT invites the public to share their feedback by completing the online survey by February 2, 2024. The survey and more information are available at https://publicinput.com/i64denbigh.
