lde .Jowne MEDICAL & DENTAL CENTER Celebrates Its 25 Anniversary Over 200 supporters kicked up their heels to help celebrate Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center's 25th Anniversary Gala held at the Colonial Heritage Ballroom and danced to the music of "Good Shot Judy." Kathy Yankovich Hornsby and her sister, Julie Yankovich Hummel served as the Gala's honorary chairpersons of this milestone event. Their mother, Ann Yankovich was a registered nurse who worked in the local school system, was a member of Olde Towne's founding board and was deeply involved in structuring and overseeing its early stages of medical care. Pictured left to right, Kathy Yankovich Hornsby and her sister, Julie Yankovich Hummel Thanks to the Gala's sponsors, donors, Silent Auction and raffle participants, more than $55,000 was raised celebrating the 25th anniversary of Olde Towne. These funds will be used directly for patient care. Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center is a safety-net primary care medical and dental center which served 5,500 patients living and working in the greater Williamsburg area during the last fiscal year. Seventy-eight per-cent of its patients are uninsured yet no one is turned away for their inability to pay for services.
