PUBLIC NOTICE WILLIAMSBURG BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS Pursuant to City of Williamsburg Ordinance #20-02, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic emergency, the meeting of the Williamsburg Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) will be held electronically (virtual) on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. Written comments will be accepted by the BZA by sending an email to virtualBZA@williamsburgva.gov by 1:00 p.m. March 2, 2021. Members of the public may participate in the meeting electronically. Please check the City's website at www.williamsburgva.gov for more information before the meeting date. The BZA will consider the following: BZA#21-002: Request of Jamestown Road LLC for a variance from Section 21-603 (d) of the Zoning Ordinance for an existing two-story nonconforming garage located 1.2 feet from the side property line. The required accessory structure side yard setback is 3 feet for this property located at 1022 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg Tax Map Number 552-13-00-A, and is zoned, Single-Family Dwelling District RS-1. BZA#21-003: Request of Gazebo Partnership for a special exception from Section 21-607(e) of the Zoning Ordinance to enclose an existing unenclosed porch that encroaches in a required front setback. The applicant proposes to enclose the existing patio that encroaches 5 feet into the front yard setback resulting in a front yard setback of 0 feet instead of 5 feet. The property is located at 140 Second Street, Williamsburg Tax Map Number 468-19-00-A, and is zoned, Corridor Business District B-2.
