VDOT ' Virginia Department of Transportation Skiffes Creek Connector Project James City County Virtual "Pardon Our Dust" Meeting Thursday, April 29, 2021 5:30 p.m. https://www.VirginiaDOT.org/SkiffesCreek Learn about the progress of the Skiffes Creek Connector Project during a virtual "Pardon Our Dust" informational meeting, hosted by VDOT and Shirley Contracting Company. The Skiffes Creek Connector is a new 0.95 mile two-lane connector road that will relieve congestion and provide connectivity between Pocahontas Trail (Route 60) and Merrimac Trail (Route 143) in James City County. Construction activities are anticipated to begin in early 2021. The meeting will be held as a virtual online event. The presentation will provide information about the project's scope and what to expect during construction including the anticipated construction schedule and potential traffic impact related to the project. The project team will make a presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m. and be present to answer questions after the presentation is completed. The presentation will be recorded and available for review on the project page afterwards.
