About

The Alumni House, formerly known as the Bright House, is a 19th-century building located on the College of William & Mary's campus in the middle of historic Williamsburg, Virginia. Original parts of the house were thought to date back to 1871.

The William & Mary Alumni Association was founded in 1842 and is the sixth-oldest such organization in America. All graduates and former students of the College of William and Mary are considered members of the Alumni Association. The Alumni Association is an independent, nonprofit organization that serves William and Mary and its many alumni, students, parents and friends. The mission of the Alumni Association is to provide services and avenues for alumni and friends of the College of William and Mary to develop loyalty to, understanding of, and lifelong participation in the present and future of the College.
