GARDEN CIUR Historic GardenWeek The Williamibaurg Garden Club Historic Garden Week Canceled for the First Time since WWI Due to this extraordinary situation concerning the risk of COVID-19 to our public health and daily líves, the Garden Club of Virginia has made the difficult decision to cancel Historic Garden Week 2020. This includes our Williamsburg Garden Club Tour which was scheduled to take place April 21, 2020. Like so many other events on calendars, it takes months of planning for this event. We want to thank everyone who has supported this year's Garden Tour. Special thanks to our fun and resilient Williamsburg Garden Club members, including Libbey Oliver for creating our mini-symposium, the Queens Lake homeowners who graciously agreed to welcome visitors to their homes and gardens, as well as the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, including the Landscape Department staff for their wonderful planned garden tours! In addition, we want to thank our generous sponsors! Over the past four decades with the commitment of our sponsors, we have been able to restore and preserve 50 of Virginia's historic gardens and landscapes, including Bruton Parish Church churchyard, Lee Hall Mansion and the new Reveley Garden, currently under construction.
